Schedule: Flexible - Weekends or 2 consecutive full-day shifts, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide home-based wound care services to patients in the area
• Assess, treat, and manage various types of wounds
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Perform wound debridement and dressing changes as needed
• Monitor wound healing progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Educate patients and caregivers on proper wound care techniques
• Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Jane App
• Adhere to all relevant state and federal regulations for wound care practice
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with wound care best practices
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice as a physician assistant in Washington
• Experience in wound care strongly preferred
• Comfortable working independently in patients' homes
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
